Adult Health

This course provides opportunities for study and integration of pathophysiological and nursing concepts related to the impact of acute and traumatic conditions on individuals and families across the life span. Emphasis will be placed on assisting students to develop advanced assessment skills and complex interventions. Example of populations include clients experiencing multiple trauma, burns, organ transplants, acute cardiac, respiratory and neurologic episodes.
