Professional Practice I
Introducing the foundations of the nursing profession at the baccalaureate level, as articulated in the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Competency Framework, theory and concepts related to the nine roles will be critically appraised at the micro level. The historical, political, social, economic and legal-ethical factors and their influences will be explored within the context of the nursing profession and practice.
