Materials Science II
Mechanical Properties of materials, materials testing - tensile properties, hardness, impact, fatigue, creep; failure and modes of fracture; engineering materials systems, interrelationships of structure, properties and processing; structural modifications in metals, polymers, ceramics and composites; strengthening mechanisms, heat treatment; processing and applications of engineering materials. (2 hr. Lab every other week)
