Discovering Data Storytelling
This course will introduce students to essential tools used by data reporters, from basic spreadsheets to cutting-edge technology such as web scraping and GIS analysis. Students will gather, prepare and analyze datasets to discover what stories are hidden in the numbers. This course requires comfort with spreadsheets, basic numeracy and using graphic production tools.
