Leadership Framework for Community
This course explores a framework of key leadership practices from leading oneself (personal values, integrity, authenticity and trust) through to leading within one’s community. Themes include: emotional and social intelligence, vision, communication, leading change, experimentation, execution, collaboration, motivation, progress and goals. This course provides both theoretical principles (foundational leadership approaches and concepts) and practical application. As students range from diverse backgrounds and experiences, significant development will occur through respecting and learning from various interdisciplinary perspectives.
