Social Media Analytics
This course will help students develop a deeper understanding of social media analytics. Students will be introduced to the types of questions that can be answered using publicly available social media datasets with users’ privacy and research ethics in mind. Students will collect, clean and analyze data from social media using sentiment and social network analysis techniques. They will also prepare reports to demonstrate how the project outcomes can support evidence-based, data-driven management practices.
