Industrial Relations Foundations
Industrial Relations is an interdisciplinary field concerned with the study of all aspects of work and employment. Students are introduced to various alternative theoretical paradigms underpinning studies within the field, and will examine concepts concerning work, employment, equity, voice, balance, ethics, and the industrial relations system. The nature of the Canadian industrial relations system and its historical development, is examined, as are various trends and issues in industrial relations in the modern economy.
