Working Toward a Just Society
Centering critical social justice perspectives, students will examine
foundational concepts of equity and justice, and explore relevant theoretical frameworks to understand social processes and dynamics, including ableism, childism, colonialism, heteronormativity, patriarchy and white supremacy. This course will bring together students from across schools in the Faculty of Community Services, leading to the development of professional skills necessary for effective engagement with individuals, families and communities and providing opportunities for interprofessional learning.
