Risk Assessment
This course examines the application of risk analysis and assessment in public/occupational health. Methods for estimating risks for environmental hazards, including hazardous and toxic materials, food additives, pesticide residues and risk generating facilities are introduced. The risk analysis includes risk identification, pathways analysis, exposure models and dose-response relationships. The course also reviews the process of risk perceptional and communication.
