Field Education I
Students will apply observation skills, knowledge of children and families, and curricula in early childhood education and care sites. Settings include the Toronto Metropolitan University Early Learning Centre, and off-campus early childhood care and education centres. Students will actively work with children birth to 5. Bi-weekly seminars support the placement experience. Discussions include nurturing positive relationships with children and families, planning and implementing curricula, and working collaboratively with the educator team. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
