Book Publishing and Marketing
This course will provide an overview of the book publishing, podcast, ebook and audiobook industries from author to consumer. Students will explore the evolution of books through a collaborative company project. Through the company students learn the roles of publisher, editor, agent, publicist and marketer. This course is appropriate for students who are interested in self-publishing, marketing cultural products and the business of storytelling.
