Researching Media Audiences
What does the audience want? This cross-disciplinary offering introduces a wide range of research techniques and methodologies for broadcasting and social media to measure audience and evaluate programming success across a range of platforms. This course also examines programming strategies of television networks. Students learn about research methods and decision-making processes used in program development, selection, promotion and scheduling.
