FCD 810
Immersion in Communication and Design
Students complete an experiential professional field placement consistent with their program. They reflect on the experience with respect to the structure, practices and communications of the creative sector. They make connections between academia (theories, vocabulary, formulas) and industry practices. Students are responsible for finding and securing a suitable position related to their program. Positions must be approved by the faculty mentor. Assessment includes the quality of reflection by students and feedback from workplace supervisors. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
