CHN 501

This course is designed for students with an intermediate knowledge of Chinese. It will focus on improving listening comprehension, reading, writing and speaking Mandarin Chinese. Using a variety of authentic materials, students learn to produce oral and written texts based upon culturally appropriate situations. By the end of the course, students will be able to read brief short stories and write essays containing 1250 characters.
