Materials Chemistry

This course addresses solid inorganic, organic and nano-materials from synthetic, characterization, structure/properties and applications perspectives, providing a suitable breadth and depth of coverage of modern materials. Topics may include the theory and chemistry of organic polymers, metals, semiconductors, carbon-based materials, mesoporous materials, metal-organic frameworks, metal nanoparticles and principles of plasmonics.
