- CriminologyPage Description:The four-year baccalaureate degree program in Criminology has as its major focus a critical understanding of the structural, administrative, political and professional context of the criminal justice system and broader agencies associated with social and legal regulation.
- Criminology and History Double MajorPage Description:Students of Criminology and History will gain a greater appreciation of the structural, administrative, political and professional context of the criminal justice system and agencies associated it while exploring the complex relationships among cultures and peoples, political and legal systems, ideas and issues, over time and place.
- Criminology and Politics and Governance Double MajorPage Description:Students in the Criminology and Politics and Governance double major will learn how key players and institutions affect, and are affected by, the justice system and other social and political institutions of regulation.

- Environment and Urban SustainabilityPage Description:The program in Environment and Urban Sustainability is designed for students interested in environmental and conservation issues. Students learn to evaluate effects of development on urban settlements and to assess and facilitate conservation and the development of sustainable responses.
- Geographic AnalysisPage Description:Exploring and analyzing the complex interconnections between people and their natural and built environments is the focus of geographic inquiry. Toronto Met's Geographic Analysis program is uniquely positioned to prepare students for the professional workplace using state-of-the-art technology in geographic information systems (GIS). Through a combination of classroom lectures, geotechnology training, field study, and a mandatory work placement, students develop the ability to provide real-world solutions in areas including business location, real-estate development, urban poverty, public health, crime prevention, as well as environment and pollution.

Using documents, oral traditions, material culture, audio-visual productions, and other sources, they ask questions that probe beyond simple answers. In the process, they help to explain cultures and peoples, political and economic systems, ideas and issues, and conflict and change in order to understand the complexities of the human experience, both in the past and the present.

- International Economics and FinancePage Description:The International Economics and Finance program combines the theoretical aspects of economics and quantitative methods with the practical skills and social awareness needed to apply this knowledge in an effective manner. It is the only economics degree of its kind in Canada - combining a formal internship with an international focus.

- SociologyPage Description:The degree in Sociology is a four-year program of study, with a focus that is unique to Toronto Metropolitan University. Students will graduate with practical research skills, in addition to critical analytical skills, communication skills, and a mature, reflective understanding of their social world. - Undeclared Arts (First Year Studies Only)Page Description:Undeclared Arts is a first-year studies option that allows students time to explore program areas in the social sciences and humanities before choosing the program they wish to pursue over the next three years. Undeclared Arts students may choose to either major in an area or to double major.
