Research and Analytics in Social Media
Students will learn how to use tools to listen to conversations across digital platforms and make meaningful conclusions in a retail context. Netlytic, a cloud-based text and social networks analyzer, will be used to collect, analyzed and visualize publicly available online conversations from social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Topics will include collecting and storing data, studying networks and links, analyzing comments, sentiments, hashtags, and images. Ethics and other important topics will also be covered.
