THD 200

This course provides continued instruction in three core disciplines of dance - ballet, modern, and jazz - on a more advanced level - with additional course work in new forms and composition. Emphasis will be placed on mastering a more advanced vocabulary of steps and dance combinations and on using the body as an instrument of expression. Students must pass all course components and end of semester audition/performance presentations in order to proceed into THD 201.
