Psychology Professional Table II

Professional Table II

Students must complete a total of 10 courses as outlined below. (Note: Students may apply to take an Advanced Methods/Independent Study course. If accepted, these students will follow an alternate set of requirements.* See Option 2 below for more information).  

Option 1 – A total of ten (10) courses required:

Two (2) courses are required from each of the following groups:

  • Cognition and Neuroscience
  • Developmental and Social Psychology
  • Clinical and Health Psychology

Plus one (1) course from the following group

  • Advanced seminar

Plus three (3) additional courses selected from the three above mentioned groups (Cognition and Neuroscience, Developmental and Social Psychology, or Clinical and Health Psychology).  

 

Option 2* – A total of ten (10) courses required:

*Students who successfully apply for permission to take an Advanced Methods/Independent Studies course must complete the following alternate requirements.

One (1) course from each of the following groups:

  • Advanced Methods and Independent Study
  • Cognition and Neuroscience
  • Developmental and Social Psychology
  • Clinical and Health Psychology
  • Advanced Seminar

Plus five (5) additional courses selected from the above mentioned groups (Advanced Methods and Independent Study, Cognition and Neuroscience, Developmental and Social Psychology and Clinical and Health Psychology (or Advanced Seminar for students admitted Fall 2018 and prior).
