Illustration: The Fashioned Body

Building upon skills gained in the Fundamentals of Figure Drawing, this course continues the development of Illustration knowledge and practice by drawing from models. Through both analogue and digital experiences, students will create fashion illustrations inclusive of a diverse range of body types and genders. Students will also learn key elements in communicating ideas in fashion through context, manipulation of the figure, representations of movement, expression, editorial illustration, computer enhancement, and directing the viewer.
