Strategic Planning
Setting measurable objectives and building plans at the organizational level is difficult for nonprofits, but essential to address growing demands for accountability. This course teaches students how to develop and present annual goals and strategic plans for internal and external audiences. It also examines the ongoing process of adjusting strategic plans to ensure the organization achieves its annual objectives. Topics covered include mission statements, environmental analysis, goal formulation, strategic options, and organizational level evaluation.
