Limit state design of continuous beams and one‐way slabs for flexure, shear and serviceability; Development, anchorage, and splicing of reinforcement; Design of two way slab systems using Direct Design Method; Design of short column for combined bending and axial compression; Design of slender columns; Types of footings; Design of strip, isolated and combined footings.
