Analytical Chemistry of Complex Samples
Sampling techniques, chemical analysis and statistical methods for analyzing major and minor analytes in complex matrices. Relevance to food, environmental, clinical, or industrial samples will be discussed. Laboratory work will introduce techniques such as Sohxlet and differential extraction, and methods for reducing matrix effects.
