Shaheena Merchant is the Program Financial Analyst for the Bridging Divides program at the University of Alberta, bringing over 15 years of accounting experience to her role. She holds a Masters of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from Mumbai University and she is currently in the process of furthering my expertise through a Chartered Professional Accountants designation, being enrolled in a Preparatory Course with CPA Western School Of Business.

Throughout her career, Shaheena has been involved in preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with year-end taxation, and creating budgets and projections. With a commitment to continuous learning and a modest approach to her work, Shaheena strives to contribute positively to any financial setting she is part of.
