Directed by Fahim Hamid Ali,  "STEADFAST - The Messenger and the Message"  chronicles her life journey from Grenada, West Indies to her historic achievement as the first African-Canadian female Member of Parliament and Cabinet Minister elected to Canada's House of Commons in 1993.

In 1995, Hon. Jean Augustine notably championed the federal Motion to establish February as Black History Month in Canada. The documentary includes interviews with prominent figures, highlighting her accomplishments and the bravery she demonstrated in advocating for women's rights and social justice.
