Desneige Frandsen
Desneige Frandsen is a Métis woman from Treaty 16 in Ontario. She holds an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph and a Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Throughout her career and studies, Desneige has worked on projects focused on Indigenous issues, orders and perspectives. As the Indigenous Youth Justice Program Manager at Level Justice, she created the Environmental Justice Program, updated the Indigenous Youth Outreach Program, and enhanced the Cultural Humility and Empathy Training offered to legal professionals. Desneige works with and engages legal professionals and organizations and Indigenous communities throughout Canada to participate in these innovative and unique opportunities.
