Fall admission decision release dates
We know it’s hard to wait! Our goal is to provide you with an admission decision as quickly as possible after you complete your application to Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). You can find your admission decision in your ChooseTMU Applicant Portal.
- Admission decisions are released on an ongoing (rolling) basis.
- Admission decisions for part-time programs and advanced levels (e.g. entry to second or third year) are generally released in the spring.
- If you applied by February 1, you’ll be notified by late May if you’ve been placed on a wait list.
Grades-Only programs
Admission decisions for Grades-Only programs are based on academic performance. Grade ranges and academic requirements can be found on your program page.
The majority of admission decisions are released between February and the end of May.
Grades-Plus programs
Admission decisions for Grades-Plus programs are based on academic performance plus non-academic criteria such as interviews, auditions, essays and portfolios. The first round of offers for Grades-Plus programs are noted below as a guideline. Please note that these dates are subject to change.
