Feb. 22: CSS security systems upgrade and temporary outages

On February 22, 2025, Community Safety and Security are overseeing upgrades to some security systems on campus. During the upgrade period, some systems will be unavailable.

Outage details

Start time and end time: Saturday, February 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During the upgrade, the following systems will not be functional:

desk duress/panic buttons located across campus
automatic security notifications for intrusion alarms

How this may impact you

We have scheduled this upgrade to take place on the Saturday of reading week as we expect a limited number of employees on campus.

As always, all community members are encouraged to download TMU Safe and sign up for text messages to get the most up-to-date information in the event of an emergency on campus.
