Ricia is the CMOC Digital Media and Marketing Strategist and a 2023 Master of Digital Media, TMU graduate. She has a passion for storytelling, entertainment, and technology. She is not a stranger to critical human rights narratives. Her MRP was titled “Social Media Disclosure Risks vs. Perceived Benefits: An analysis of motivations to join LinkedIn” where she discovered biases that exist against professionals of colour in their use of professional social networking sites such as LinkedIn.
Ricia hails from Trinidad and Tobago and brings her lived cultural experience, expertise and creativity to the digital storytelling process. We are grateful to have her on the Media Team.
