Call for Expressions of Interest – Externally Funded Fellowships

Invitation to submit an expression of interest for externally funded fellowships.
The Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration and Integration at Toronto Metropolitan University invites researchers who are working in the broader area of migration and integration studies to submit an expression of interest for externally funded fellowships to be hosted by the CERC in Migration at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Canada.
Interested applicants please submit an application package via this online application form (external link) by 12 AM EDT May 1, 2025. The package needs to include:
- Short CV (2-4 pages)
- Brief outline of a research proposal (1-2 pages)
Your research proposal outline must include a clear statement of what you intend to study and show how it fits with one or more of the thematic priority areas of the CERC Migration program. The process is competitive and only a handful of applicants will be retained for further preparing of a submission to one of the schemes outlined below. Shortlisted applicants will be informed by early June 2025.

These fellowships support the most promising Canadian new scholars in the social sciences and humanities, and assist them in establishing a research base at an important time in their research careers.
