Welcome to CERC Migration!

One of CERC Migration’s mandates is to build a strong international network of collaborators with scholars at senior and emerging levels. As part of that effort, we are delighted to welcome to our offices this fall:

• CERC Scholars of Excellence Pragna Rugunan (University of Johannesburg), Diego Acosta Arcarazo (University of Bristol), Brenda Yeo (external link)  (National University of Singapore), Joseph Teye (University of Ghana), and S. Irudya Rajan (International Institute of Migration and Development), who arrive in September and contribute to workshops this fall (Migration Working Group meetings for September and October (opens in new window) ), 
• Two visiting students Daphne Nguyen-Tymoczko (Sciences Po Lyon) (until January 2023) and Alexandre Branco-Pereira (Federal University of São Carlos) (until April 2023),   
• Ethel Tungohan (York University) a Visiting Scholar, who will work at CERC Migration until April 2023, and 
• The first fellows to travel to CERC Migration through our Global Exchange Fellowship program: Karina Shklyan (UC San Diego), Martha Cecilia Ruiz (FLACSO Ecuador), and Charishma Ratnam (Monash University).
