Rajeshwar Acharya

Rajeshwar Acharya is the Research Support Officer at CERC Migration. He holds an MPhil in Gender and Development from the University of Bergen, Norway, and a Master’s in Rural Development from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He is currently a PhD candidate in Educational Anthropology at Aarhus University, Denmark. His research focuses on international financing for education in Nepal. Rajeshwar has over a decade of multidisciplinary experience in project management, administrative coordination, and financial management across academic and non-academic sectors in Canada, Denmark, Norway, and Nepal.

Rajeshwar has previously worked at the University of Toronto and Scotiabank in Canada. He has received multiple awards, including Scotiabank Branch Employee of the Year 2022, a faculty-funded PhD fellowship from Aarhus University in Denmark, and the prestigious Norad scholarship in Norway.
