Aisha Khan

Aisha Khan is a recent graduate of the Literatures of Modernity MA program at Toronto Metropolitan University and the Advanced Healthcare Practice MHSc at Western University. She holds an honours Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from her alma mater, The University of Western Ontario. 

Born and raised in Toronto, she loves her home city almost as much as she loves her cultural background–her roots tying back to both Pakistan and India. She is always interested in learning about the subcontinent’s history, cultures, and Indo-Aryan languages. Her diverse academic background informs her scholarly interests which include postcolonialism, refugee/migrant studies, religion studies, gender-based violence, health policy, and the digital and health humanities. She writes creatively under the pseudonym, Anaa Gulzar.
