John Gilroy

John Gilroy is the first Aboriginal person with disability to lead Aboriginal disability research at a scholarly level and is the most published in the world. He is a outstanding leader across research, teaching and governance and has an exceptional record of commitment to service in local Aboriginal communities, the academic community, and international community. John has shown a consistent upwards trajectory in his career being awarded over $10mil as a CI in disability research grants. John's research has made significant impact on the development of the NDIS and other policies relating to people with disability.
