Sankavi is an enthusiastic healthcare leader passionate about improving the healthcare system in Canada by effectively leading forward-thinking teams, spearheading innovative initiatives and bringing transformational change. Sankavi completed her Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo with a continuation in certified project management from the University of Toronto. She has over three years of experience at The Hospital for Sick Children where she primarily focused on Pediatric Clinical Operations as a Supervisor in the Department of Infectious Disease, Intermediate Care & Respiratory Medicine. Outside of her role, she is driven by her advocacy for health equity and diversity in which she contributes to workplace initiatives and policies. She has worked on multiple projects including Family Education Hyperinsulinism Day, Indigenous Days of Significance-Bear Witness Day and the Anti-Racism policy and Inclusive Recruitment pathway. Sankavi joins the CERC in Health Equity and Community Wellbeing at Toronto Metropolitan University as the Operations, Partnership, and Data Manager to create positive change through quality and process improvements.
