Dr. Andrea (Andie) Noack is a critical quantitative research methodologist and social statistician. She is interested in the history and politics of knowledge production, and particularly, how practices of survey design and data collection constrain what and who we know about. She is committed to community-engaged, social justice research, and participates in research teams investigating precarious work, labour migration, and young people's labour force experiences. She is also the author of Social Statistics in Action, an applied introductory social statistics textbook for Canadian social science students.
