About this Event
Join us as we collectively work toward a deeper understanding of the transformative potential for connecting universal design with anti-racism in education. This workshop will support you in your quest to design and adapt learning experiences that promote and integrate accessibility and racial justice.
At the end of the hour and a half virtual workshop, educators should be able to:
· Embrace a holistic comprehension of how universal design and anti-racism complement and reinforce each other
· Move toward pedagogical strategies that enable them to transform curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and assessment approaches to cater to diverse set of needs
· Find ways to evaluate and assess the impact of integrating anti-racism and universal design in your educational practice.
· Build and enhance your community of supports to keep the work going
Please note that some independent pre-work may be required to prepare for this workshop.
