About this event
This session is designed for educators to connect, learn, and share knowledge and experience about what we understand about grief, and how individual and collective grief shows up in the classroom for both students and instructors.
Facilitators will be sharing slides with participants, but there will be no fixed agenda for this session. Participants will not be required to share personal stories. The session is designed to be a supportive, low-stress space of learning, connection and structural change-making, and so it will not be recorded.
If you have any questions prior to the event, please reach out to Jennifer (Jen) Poole at jpoole@torontomu.ca.
Facilitated by:
Carmen Galvan, Co-founder of BIPOC Grief Talks
Dr. Jennifer Poole, Associate Professor in the School of Social Work
Samantha Zerafa, TMU MSW Alumni
