About this event

This session aims to generate an interactive experience with learning outcome tools which focus on consideration of students’ intersectional identities including but not limited to: Anti-racism, accessibility and accommodations, LGBTQ2S+, Indigenous rights and other equity-deserving populations. Participants in this workshop will reflect on ways to centre intersectionality within learning outcomes across disciplines and to create intersectional learning outcomes that are aligned with TMU’s Key Values, including: Equity, Diversity & Inclusion; Boldness; and Mutual Respect. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss ways in which these learning outcomes will impact their teaching practice and assessment strategies.

Excellence in Teaching Program (ETP) Workshop Series

This event is open to all faculty and instructors and is part of the Excellence in Teaching Program.

The Excellence in Teaching Program (ETP), is designed by the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching to provide faculty with opportunities to enhance the impact of their teaching, and participate in a community of educators committed to excellence and equity in teaching and learning. As part of the ETP framework, participants attend a total of five workshops. ETP workshops are open to the entire teaching community, and will evolve to meet the needs and interests of faculty over time. Learn more about the program.
