Graduate Teaching Development Program (GTDP)
An opportunity to enhance teaching skills, develop a teaching dossier, and attain teaching certificates in higher education. This program offers up to two teaching certifications for TMU graduate students. It involves two free 6-week courses in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education that will appear on your transcript. The completion schedule is flexible, and you'll earn certificates and digital badges for each level to enhance your LinkedIn profile.

2024-2025 ModulesOrientation modules are offered online through D2L Brightspace. These modules help prepare TA/GAs for classroom teaching roles. Topics covered include meeting with supervising instructors, duties and responsibilities, student rapport, using D2L Brightspace, and resources for student success. Benefits include understanding TA/GA duties, strategies for instructor relationships, D2L proficiency, connecting students with campus resources, and gaining professional skills for academic and future careers. |

TA/GA Day: In-Person Symposium on TeachingA full-day of events for TA/GAs and all graduate students interested in professional development in teaching. Take away valuable tips, tools, and strategies for carrying out your teaching duties in the upcoming year and have a chance to network with peers. |
