August 28 is TA/GA Day, an in-person Symposium on teaching, an opportunity for TAs, GAs, and all graduate students to explore professional development offerings at the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching.
Teaching Assistants and Graduate Assistants will take part in engaging sessions and will leave with valuable tips, tools, and strategies they can apply to their teaching duties in the upcoming academic year.
“TA/GA day is a wonderful opportunity for graduate students of all levels to learn more about the craft and practice of teaching," says M Dougherty, Educational Developer at the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. "There will be opportunities for new graduate students to learn about the basics of TA/GA positions as well as discussions aimed at more experienced instructors about balancing your research and teaching while strategizing for your future.”
TA/GA Day will take place Monday, August 28 in the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex (DCC).
