Welcome Back Message from CELT Executive Director

Jason Lisi, Executive Director, Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching
There is a different kind of energy on campus this fall. For some, it is a significant return to campus after a much prolonged hiatus. For others, this will be the first time on campus, or it could simply be business as usual. There can be excitement, yet also apprehensiveness that comes with such a big shift. Whatever your situation, I want to take this opportunity to say welcome, and let you know that all of us at the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching are ready to support you.
Whether it is to help navigate the pedagogical flexibility needed for continued uncertainty, or planning the future of teaching and learning, our individualized, collaborative support models, combined with exciting new initiatives that enhance excellence in teaching and learning provide a well-balanced approach that can be uniquely tailored to assist in a variety of scenarios. I am especially excited about the additional support we have this year to support EDI, anti-racism, and Indigenous learning initiatives. Our newly redesigned website is a great place to get information, and learn about the different units within the Centre. We also have some great on-site resources in our space on the seventh floor of the DCC, and encourage you to come see us to learn more.
I wish you the best of starts to the term.
Jason Lisi, Executive Director
Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching
