Muskrat and the Flood

This project will develop a digital video using Anishinaabe story telling, the purpose of which is to emphasize the importance of “drafting” in academic writing. The video will be no more than five minutes. It will begin by explaining part of the “great flood” story within Anishinaabe oral history, then will use said story as a metaphor as to why drafting is important to academic writing. This project remains in its planning phase at this time, though several meetings took place in 2018-2019.
