New two-factor requirement for logins to university systems
To: All students who have not yet enabled two-factor authentication
Starting February 25, 2022, all Ryerson students will be required to use two-factor authentication in order to log in to university systems such as Gmail, RAMSS, D2L Brightspace and Library eResources.
Please set up two-factor authentication in advance of the February 25 deadline to ensure you have continuous access to the tools and systems required for your coursework.
How to set up two-factor authentication
Information on two-factor authentication is available online, including help with:
- Setting up two-factor;
- How to use two-factor; and
- Instances where you’re locked out of your account or getting a new phone.
You may also wish to review all university apps that require two-factor authentication.
