Recording as Practice

This course delves into the art of mapping, exploring, and intervening in the environment using sound, using recording strategies as dynamic tools for understanding and engaging with urban spaces. Students learn to operate portable recording devices to interpret the soundscape and consider ways in which it offers inspiration and possibility in a creative context. Participants gain insight into the multifaceted role of recording in shaping our perception of space and experience.
