Stage Management for Live Events

This advanced course explores the role of the stage manager in various live performance contexts, including theatre, events, and opera. Students will learn about rehearsal and production procedures, scheduling, blocking notation, and prompt book and paperwork systems. The course covers the provisions of the Canadian Theatre Agreement and other relevant industry agreements. Students will gain practical experience in managing the complex logistics of live events.
