Professional Preparation for Dancers

This course is designed to impart industry information pertinent to an emerging dance artist’s success in the professional workforce. In the final year of study, students will strategically analyze the various career paths available to them in the dance sector. Students will learn how to create professional portfolio materials, write grants, create application material, and seek agency representation. Additionally, students will study the many Canadian arts service organizations.
