Dance on Film

This course studies the interrelationships between dance, film/TV, and the performing arts. Students will examine the works of dance filmmakers and discuss how these can inspire and shape their own filmmaking endeavours. The students will study elements of pre-production, production and post-production such as directing/choreography, casting, story-boarding, performance, editing etc. This will culminate in an end-of-term project.
