Case Study: Integrating Acting
Students apply foundational acting skills and production knowledge in a structured work environment by examining Shakespeare and integrating basic production elements for 20-minute performances. Through analysis and performance, students decouple Shakespeare from a legacy of Western colonisation and spotlight new
ways of interpreting Shakespeare. The course requires weekly rehearsals (4-20 hours). Course culminates in the Quartet Project.
