French Audiovisual Translation
This blended course, taught primarily in French, introduces students to the linguistic,
cultural and technical challenges encountered when working on audiovisual productions and other multimedia content. Through the study and practice of audiovisual translation, this course raises awareness of current issues and debates in the study of dubbing, subtitling and localization and offers insights into these forms of translation. Weekly modules are a blend of synchronous and asynchronous, and include experiential-learning activities.
